Pre-magnetization transformer
The pre-magnetization transformer is primarily used in power systems that involve large-capacity transformers, such as those in large ships and the metallurgical and petrochemical industries. By employing pre-magnetization technology, it suppresses the inrush current generated during no-load switching of large-capacity transformers.

Pre-magnetization transformer
The pre-magnetization transformer is mainly suitable for power systems with large capacity transformers, such as those found on large ships and the metallurgical and petrochemical industries. By using pre-magnetization technology on large capacity transformers, the transformer inrush current during no-load switching can be suppressed, thus protecting the supply transformer and the power grid.
As pre-magnetization transformers are often used in harsh environments such as ships, the products are required to meet the relevant marine requirements for shock resistance and corrosion prevention. At the same time, the pre-magnetization transformer may need to have a phase shift between the primary and secondary within the range of 0 to 90 degrees, depending on system requirements.
We BE has independently developed various SSR-type pre-magnetization transformers as a replacement for imported products. They are mainly used in ABB's large ship power systems. Since the products have been supplied in bulk, they have been running stably with good performance.
